Montana Missions Trip!

Please pray for the HS youth missions trip! We will be away from July 17 -25th.
We are serving in Montana at the Blackfeet Indian Reservation!
Please pray for Gods glory to be shown through our service and for God to challenge and grow the participants faith in Him!

Pictures will be posted not too long after the trip.

What is Elevate?

Elevate is the High School youth ministry program at Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church in Reisterstown, MD.

We meet Mid-August - End of June
Sunday nights from 6:30 to 8:30
Elevate is a verb which means to lift up or make higher. We meet to elevate our Lord and Savior and to be elevated ourselves in our knowledge and growth in Him.

“I will exalt you, O Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths." Psalms 30:1
"Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up."
James 4:10

The goal of our student ministry is to Expose youth to God's love, to Equip them to Exalt God, Enjoy other believers and Experience the work of the ministry. This purpose statement is fulfilled when we fulfill these five purposes:
Expose = Evangelism
Equip = Discipleship
Exalt= Worship
Enjoy = Fellowship
Experience = Ministry

This blog also hopes to help contribute to a family oriented youth ministry where the youth ministry works alongside the family in order to minister to youth. Each week lessons will be available as a ministry tool to help equip parents and engage youth. Studies have shown that parents are 2-3 times more influential than any church function. Home is the number 1 place where faith is nurtured. Please view this blog as an extension of the church youth ministry and use it engage, equip, inspire and grow spiritually.
